From my bookshelf

Arts and Crafts of Mexico has been my go-to guide for years as I’ve learned about the traditional crafts made in Mexico.

What I really like about this book is the author, Chloë Sayer, captures the combination of tradition and love that goes into making crafts, even using the most humble materials.

Materials such as paper mache, low-fire ceramics, and embroidery depicting festive events are all heartfelt and unique.
