Wandering through the city of Querétaro, Mexico you will note the Colonial-era buildings, side-by-side with contemporary concrete and rebar homes. What they all have in common is the lush use of color.

The historic center of Querétaro has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Many of the churches and historic architectural sites (now museums) were influenced by the Jesuits. The charming downtown filled with twisting cobblestone alleys and streets is fun to explore.
