From my bookshelf

Diane Arbus has always been one of my favorite photographers. This book, Diane Arbus: Revelations includes documentation from the retrospective on her work at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2005, including many photos from her portraits of the New Yorkers she saw everyday to traveling circus sideshows.

The photos in the book document Arbus’s process – such as her notebooks for ideas and organization of her work.

Daily notes on her work provide insight into her process.
